Details of the TEBD Agri-Food Networking Event
The Turkey-EU Business Dialogue (TEBD) aims to strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation between the Turkish and EU business communities. TEBD gives Turkish and European Chambers and businesses the opportunity to engage in dialogue, partnerships, capacity building and much more.
Chambers both in Turkey and in the European Union (EU) have an important role to play in fostering economic cooperation and Turkey’s EU accession process. The Turkey-EU Business Dialogue (TEBD) Project is based on the long-term partnership of the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) as the “voices of the business community” considering their strategic priorities and their members of business communities both in the EU and Turkey. The Turkey-EU Business Dialogue (TEBD) Project is implemented by EUROCHAMBRES in close cooperation with TOBB, which is the end beneficiary, and also co-funded by the European Union under its IPA II programme with Turkey.
The TEBD Project brings the Turkish Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Commodity Exchanges, and their EU counterparts closer trough establishing grant partnerships and implementing a range of activities, providing the Chambers and Commodity Exchanges opportunities to exchange views and practices and to improve business dialogue. The TEBD Project promotes the integration of the European Union and Turkish business communities and ensures greater awareness of business opportunities and challenges of Turkey’s potential future accession to the EU and the modernization of the Customs Union between Turkey and the EU.
During the implementation of the TEBD Project, Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and Commodity Exchanges from both Turkey and the EU are engaging in Policy and Business Dialogues, Capacity Building, and Chamber Partnerships.

Suggestions of suitable meetings will be made by the platform on the basis of the information indicated in the registration form, but participants can also browse the attendee list and select themselves who they want to meet. In doing so, they are helped by the filters offered by the platform: type of language spoken, type of countries of interest, type of topics of interest, type of request, type of offer, type of organization, etc. An email and an SMS (for those who indicated the mobile number) will be received communicating the start of the matchmaking.
The participants who do not wish to plan B2B meetings in advance, can directly go on the platform on the meeting day by logging in with their credentials and join the activity.
During the event participants will meet each other by video calls (Conversation starter provides built-in video calls). After the event, participants will have an overview of all the people they met and their contact details.
